SREE VIVEKANANDA TEACHER EDUCATION CENTRE, AKKIKKAVU (SVTEC)  a self
financing teacher education centre was established in the year 2005 under the management
of Sree Vivekananda  Educational and charitable trust ,a non profit organization governed
by independent board of directors wa established in 2000 in  Kerala, Thrissur District,
Akkikkavu. In order to give students greater educational possibilities, the Educational and
Charitable Trust was established in 2000.The Chairman of the Trust, Shri T.R.
Shanmughan,leads the Governing Body that oversees the trust and has made noteworthy
contributions to the field of education through trust.Senior-level professionals who oversee
and direct the organization's long-term strategy and vision make up our Board of Directors.
Sree Vivekananda Teacher Education Centre (SVTEC), is a self- financing institution  which is
 affiliated to University of Calicut,Malappuram District. Our institution is recognized by the
National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and it follows the curriculum and syllabus
approved by Calicut University.
